October 5th, 2023..
Today we as a chapter held our Inaugural Banquet at the Newnan Centre in Newnan Georgia. With the support from our sponsors, ticket sales and raffle sales we netted approximately $24,000 for The Delta Waterfowl Foundation and conservation projects! With a goal of $15,000, we are very pleased with the amount we raised and are super thankful for everyone involved in reaching that goal.
September 24th, 2023..
Today some of our chapter members came together and built 9 wood duck boxes and a hen house for our respective communities here in the great state of Georgia. We will have 1 wood duck box and 1 hen house on display at our banquet Oct. 5th. These boxes and hen house help keep predators away during the reproduction process and is a huge positive in hatch rates.
Just the beginning of what this chapter will accomplish on a state wide scale. Excited about where the future will take us as a chapter and all the good we will do for the Delta Waterfowl Foundation.
